Meet Dr. Justin Alan Linker
Originally from Freeport, IL, Dr. Justin graduated from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, IA. He did his undergraduate work at Highland Community College and Illinois State University before starting Palmer in 1999.
Dr. Justin has literally been all over the world helping people through Chiropractic. Practicing now for almost a decade, he focuses primarily on family and child care.
Recently Dr. Justin received his post-graduate degree as a Certified Chiropractic Sports Physician from National College of Chiropractic. He now works with the Chicago Express professional hockey team. You can see their games starting in October at the Sears Centre in Hoffman Estates.
When Dr. Justin is not in the office seeing patients, speaking in the community, or treating sports teams, he like to read, watch movies, exercise, and spend as much time as possible with his wife Jamie and their twin sons Dain and Cade.
Meet Dr. Dan Bucek
Dr. Bucek got into chiropractic at an early age--as a high school 100-meter high hurdler. A nasty fall nearly knocked him out during a track meet. The team's doctor happened to be a chiropractic physician. "He said he could help me and he did! I didn't know what a chiropractor did or was at the time. " A couple weeks later, Dr. Bucek was running in the sectional meet.
After his seasonal allergies and eczema started to clear up, he started to ask more and more questions about chiropractic and how chiropractic worked. "The waiting room was full of children and older people. At the time, I thought that chiropractic was only for athletes. But, I was wrong!"
Dr. Bucek graduated from Illinois Wesleyan University before starting his chiropractic education at National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois. At National, Dr. Bucek earned a second bachelor's degree in Human Anatomy and Physiology as well as completing his Doctorate in Chiropractic in under four years. While in practice, he earned his board certification in chiropractic sports medicine from the American Chiropractic Board of Sports Physicians®. His continuing education interests include pediatric chiropractic, upper and lower extremity injuries, and nutrition.
Dr. Bucek is also on staff with the Chicago Express hockey team (Chicago's new ECHL team) and will serve alongside Dr. Linker as their Team Chiropractor. In the past, he worked with professional indoor lacrosse teams, professional indoor soccer teams, as well as pro-beach volleyball. For fun, Dr. Bucek has donated his time to care for touring groups that include: Daughtry, Lifehouse, and the Eagles when they performed locally. He also worked with mixed martial arts events (both professional and amateur) and serves as a consultant for local high school athletic departments.
Although Dr. Bucek has taken care of hundreds of professional and amateur athletes during his career so far, he particularly enjoys his family practice right here in Hoffman Estates/Barrington area. Dr. Bucek is accepting new patients and is available for consultations, by appointment.
